Here’s a new voicemail heating up the Web and WhatsApp groups. The clip, produced by Sam Adeoye, creator of The Book of Sam Facebook page, is a voice mail from a Nigerian man who’s turning 40 in 2018.
In less than 3 minutes, the powerful voice note captures decades of systemic failure, disappointment and challenges beating down the Nigerian youth.
“This is only a tiny glimpse into the feeling of despair that young people have been coping with for several years. I’m sure we all know someone who’s in Hope’s shoes. But hopefully, we will demand real change in 2019,” Adeoye said.
