Global Peace Movement International UK has given Standard Chartered Bank Nigeria a seven days ultimatum to pay Mr. Imasuen Osabuohien the sum of $730m which the group alleges the bank is illegally withholding.

The group made this known in a press statement signed by its President Dr. Mike Uyi saying the laws of impunity created outside Nigeria’s constitution by Standard chartered Bank to unlawfully hold Imasuen Osabuohien Ese’s money without Written/ Directive by EFCC, IGP, DSS, or ICPC will not be tolerated.

Uyi stated that this kind of impunity by Standard Chartered Bank would cast a shadow on the identity of the Muhammad Buhari administration’s anti-corruption crusade, which had endeared the country and its leader to other developed world leaders.

“It is the responsibility of the Global Peace Movement Worldwide to support PMB on his anti-corruption War through every reasonable and lawful means”.

“We wish to state that Standard Chartered Bank plc is working at variance with the economic policy of the Federal Government which urges Nigerians in the Diaspora to invest in the country”.

“We will physically appear in the premises of Standard Chartered Bank Victoria Island to demand the payments of Mr. Imasuen Osabuohien Ese’s.”

“GPMI will do exactly what we did to Mobil Oil Company in V.I Year 2008 if the sum of $730 Million Dollars Illegally Held by Standard Chartered Bank is not released Within One week from 18TH of October 2018”.

“GPMI do not fish in cool waters but only in troubled waters”, Uyi threatens.

“It is on records that we moved the 4179 Military pensioners from DMP’S office in Ikoyi Lagos in year 20OI to Lokoja for records verification. We went to Iraq In 1998 and 1999 to Broker Peace with Saddam Hussein and the United Nations” he added.
