EDITORIAL NOTICE | SIGNAL to Address Buhari With the Prefix, ‘Dictator’

As a show of protest for the consistent disregard for the rule of law and clampdown on freedom of expression in Nigeria, the Editorial Board of SIGNAL has decided that we shall henceforth address President Muhammadu Buhari with the prefix: ‘Dictator’ in all our publications.

The ‘Dictator’ prefix on Muhammadu Buhari will be relaxed by this media house only after court orders are obeyed and detained prisoners of conscience like Omoyele Sowore, Jones Abiri, Agba Jalingo, among others are freed from detention and/or the framed up charges against them dropped.
