Fire Outbreak at House on the Rock Church Abuja [VIDEO]

Fire broke out on Sunday at the Abuja branch of the House on the Rock Church sited along the Umar Musa Yar’Adua expressway that leads to the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.

Yomi Shogunle, an Assistant Commissioner of Police and head of the Nigerian Police Public Complaint Rapid Response Unit tweeted a video of the building visibly ablaze while fire fighters were struggling to put out the fire.

SIGNAL gathered from a member of the church who worshipped there Sunday morning that the main church building has been under renovation for a while and services have been holding at the church annex building.

Headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria, House on the Rock was founded by Pastor Paul Adefarasin.

The cause of the fire was yet to be ascertained at the time of this report.
