Supreme Court Sacks all Anambra PDP Senators, Orders Them Replaced

The Supreme Court has sacked the two remaining senators in the National Assembly from Anambra State.

Those sacked today were Senators Stella Oduah and Andy Ubah.

Oduah was a former Minister of Aviation, while Ubah was a former Special Adviser to former President Olusegun Obasanjo on Domestic Affairs.

Earlier sacked was Senator Uche Ekwunife.

All the senators from Anambra State, including Ekwunife, emerged on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The Independent National Electoral Commission had declared them winners after the senatorial election held last year.

To replace them, according to the Supreme Court, are Chris Ubah (Anambra South), John Emeka (Anambra North) and Annie Okonkwo (Anambra Central).
