Former England and Manchester United forward Wayne Rooney was reportedly pulled over on suspicion of drink-driving by Cheshire Police last night.
The 31-year-old former Three Lions captain was stopped by police after an evening out, reports The Mirror.
When contacted by Daily Star Online on whether Rooney had been arrested, a Cheshire Police spokesman could not confirm or deny the reports.
According to the report, Everton FC, Rooney’s publicists Ian Monk Associates and Triple S Entertainment Ltd are also yet to issue comment.
