The Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Mr. Babatunde Fashola, has said that the federal government has resolved issues which had stranded transmission projects for the delivery of over 700 megawatts (mw) of power to the national grid, Daily Trust is reporting.
Speaking during his recent tour of some states in the North-central region, Fashola said the government resolved the issues to ensure that several important projects were delivered on time.
In a statement issued by his spokesman, Hakeem Bello, the minister said: “We have just resolved some issues in one of the states where the power project has been held down by communal and legal issues that were delaying about 700mw of power from being completed”.
