#BayelsaDecides: Bayelsa Monarch, King Progress Neverdie Shot in Southern Ijaw LGA

The paramount ruler of Peremabiri community in Southern Ijaw local government of Bayelsa State popularly known as ”progress never die” was shot today, January 10, by unknown gunmen.

The monarch was said to have sustained bullet wounds during a clash that ensued between his supporters and that of a popular youth leader named Eris Paul popularly known as Ogunbos.

According to a Naij.com reporter in Bayelsa, the monarch was sighted being conveyed in an ambulance to an undisclosed hospital for treatment.
