Iwobi Charges Eagles to make Nigerians Proud against Cameroon

Super Eagles’ and Arsenal FC of England forward, Alex Iwobi, has expressed his disappointment over the injury that forced him to pull out of Friday’sFIFA World Cup qualifying cracker against the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon.

The Arsenal attacker took to his Instagram page on Tuesday to express his disappointment, whilst urging his teammates to go for the maximum six points available to make millions of Nigerians around the world happy.

Iwobi wrote: “Gutted I’ll be missing our two big qualifiers because of injury but I am behind the boys 100%. Massive thanks to all our awesome fans for your continued support! Let’s do Nigeria proud.”

Iwobi was on target in the Super Eagle’s World Cup qualifier against Zambia in Lusaka.

The Gunners’ star was however missing in last Sunday’s 4-0 humiliation of Arsenal by Liverpool at Anfield.
